The Ajaokuta-Kaduna-Kano (AKK) Natural Gas Pipeline is a key part of Nigeria’s growth story. AKK's 614km infrastructure, designed to transport up to 2.2 billion cubic feet of gas daily, will supply energy to industries, communities, and businesses across central and northern Nigeria.

PROJECT OVERVIEW

Powering Nigeria’s Future

The AKK pipeline spans 614km, with a daily capacity of 2.2 billion cubic feet. It connects Ajaokuta, Abuja, Kaduna, and Kano, providing a crucial energy link for industries and communities.

A Major Investment

With $2.56 billion funded by NNPC Ltd, the AKK project is a significant step towards Nigeria’s energy goals.

Transforming Northern Nigeria

The pipeline is expected to add 3,600MW of power to the national grid, drive new industries, and create thousands of jobs, supporting growth across the region.
